Traffic Alert: Road Closures at Schofield Barracks for Military Exercise

SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawai'i — The 25th Infantry Division will be conducting a 12-mile road march exercise on May 3, 2024, from 3:15 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Local residents can expect road closures and delays during these hours as well as increased foot traffic along the designated routes.

ROAD CLOSURES:
1)  Lyman Road – Between Flagler Road and Humphreys Road will be closed to west bound traffic. West bound traffic will be diverted north on Flagler Road. West bound traffic will be permitted to pass with caution.
2)  Humphreys Road – Between Kolekole Avenue and Lyman Road.
3)  Cadet Sheridan Road – Between Trimble Road and Kolekole Avenue.
4)  Kolekole Avenue – Between Cadet Sheridan Road and Humphreys Road.

Motorists are advised to be cautious and must adhere to a maximum speed limit of 10 mph when passing troops on the road. The specific routes affected by the closures will be marked and personnel will be directing traffic to minimize disruptions. Residents and commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
